About Dr. Dila Kaya

A South Florida native, Dr. Dila Kaya grew up in Boca Raton and later attended the University of Florida College, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Biology (Cum Laude) and Bachelor of Art in Anthropology (Cum Laude) in Gainesville, Florida. She then continued her dental education as a double Gator at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry. During her time, she was elected as the president of the Academy of General Dentistry and dedicated her time to volunteering in her local community as well as abroad. Dr. Kaya had the privilege of providing dental care to underserved populations in Ecuador for two consecutive years and acting as trip leader in her final year. She graduated with academic distinction, receiving the Academy of General Dentistry award, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology award, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.

After dental school, Dr. Kaya completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Her training focused on treating medically and dentally complex patients, focusing on digital dentistry, IV sedation, oral surgery with bone grafting, implant dentistry, microscopic root canal therapy, periodontal surgery, aesthetic dentistry, and full-mouth rehabilitations. Her passion revolves around cosmetic dentistry and smile transformations, as she truly appreciates the impact a healthy and beautiful smile can have on a patient’s confidence and self-esteem! She is also certified in botox treatment.

After completing her residency, Dr. Kaya moved back to her sunny hometown of Boca Raton to be closer to the beach. Outside of dentistry, she loves spending time with her family and her dog, Lyla, hot yoga classes, pickleball, exploring art museums, and trying new restaurants around town!
