Dr. Arauz is a general and cosmetic dentist who believes “Life is too short not to smile.”
His passion for dentistry started in high school after shadowing and working for a dentist in his hometown of Miami. After graduating high school with an International Baccalaureate diploma from Coral Reef Senior High, he attended the University of Florida and graduated with a degree in Human Nutrition with Dean’s List honors. While at the University of Florida, Dr. Arauz was published in the Journal of the American Society for Microbiology for his research of the correlation between cardiovascular disease and periodontal disease under Dr. Ann Progulske-Fox. Dr. Arauz, then obtained his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
After graduation Dr. Arauz, has dedicated his time to enhance his knowledge and skills in all aspects of dentistry with a focus in the Spear Academy, Kois Center, Misch-Resnik Implant Institute, and Full Mouth Rehabilitation of NYC (FMRNYC) to further his education in the most current and new cosmetic techniques, as well as training under world renowned cosmetic dentists Dr. Michael Apa, Dr. David Hornbrook, and Dr. Dean Vafiadis. He is also an advanced Invisalign certified provider, with knowledge in simple and complex cases. Dr. Arauz is also experienced in simple and complex Oral Surgery, Implantology, Endodontics, minor periodontal surgery, and laser dentistry, all which allow him to treat his patients comprehensively for full mouth reconstructions/rehabilitation.
