Once upon a time, if you had a tooth with a diseased nerve, you’d probably lose that tooth. Today, with a special dental procedure called root canal therapy, you can save that tooth. Inside each tooth is the pulp which provides nutrients and nerves to the tooth, it runs like a thread down through the root. When the pulp is diseased or injured, the pulp tissue dies. If you don’t remove it, your tooth could get infected, and you could lose it. After the dentist removes the pulp, the root canal is cleaned and sealed off to protect it. Then a crown (crafted in our in-house dental laboratory) is placed over the tooth to help make it stronger.
Here’s some great news: We won’t have to refer you out to a specialty practice for your treatment. Our Endodontic Specialist will be able to perform your root canal therapy right here at Spodak Dental Group in the comfort and convenience of our own comprehensive facility. Most of the time, it is a relatively simple procedure with little or no discomfort. Best of all, it can save your tooth and your smile!

noun a scientific movement linking human health and responsiveness to natural environments
Life loves life. It may seem like common sense to some, but it’s actually real science. Recent studies in biophilia have shown that people actually heal faster and perform better when surrounded by nature and natural light, which is why we designed every inch of this facility based on this principle.
Each operatory has floor-to-ceiling windows and live plants, which allow for a calming and healing environment for the patient. Doctors and team members also benefit as natural lighting lowers the occurrence of human errors.
